Do Not Book a Head Spa Treatment If You Have:

• Scalp infections (e.g. ringworm, lice, folliculitis)
• Open cuts, wounds, or recent head trauma
• Active flare-ups of eczema or psoriasis on the scalp
• Recent head surgery
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure (especially if steam is used)

Please Inform Us If You Have:

• Botox or dermal fillers in the past 2 weeks
• A sensitive scalp or known skin allergies
• History of migraines or dizziness
• Active sinus issues
• Pregnancy (certain massage techniques may be adjusted)

Facial Treatments – Important Considerations

Facials Are Not Recommended If You Have:

• Cold sores (active herpes simplex)
• Open wounds or cystic acne breakouts
• Any skin infection (bacterial, fungal, or viral)
• Recent facial surgery, stitches, or fresh scars
• Severe sunburn

Please Let Us Know If You Have:

• Used Accutane (Isotretinoin) in the last 6–12 months
• Had a chemical peel, microdermabrasion, or laser treatment recently
• Skin allergies or sensitivities (patch testing available)
• Are pregnant (certain ingredients and devices will be avoided)
• Conditions like rosacea or broken capillaries (we will adjust your treatment)

Waxing – Know Before You Go

Waxing Should Be Avoided If You:

• Have sunburned or freshly tanned skin (within 24–48 hours)
• Have open wounds or skin infections in the treatment area
• Are currently using Accutane or have within the last year
• Have suspicious moles or a history of skin cancer
• Have severe varicose veins (for leg waxing)

Please Advise Us If You:

• Are using retinoids, AHA/BHA, or topical steroids (stop 5–7 days before waxing)
• Are menstruating (skin may be more sensitive)
• Are pregnant (we’ll take extra care to ensure comfort)
• Have diabetes (increased risk of infection)
• Have recently had a peel or exfoliation treatment on the area
